Adoption in the East Midlands

Adoption 4 East Midlands is a collaborative project between nine local authorities and three voluntary adoption agencies. Together we are committed to finding, preparing and supporting adoptive families for the children who are currently looked after in the East Midlands. Many of these children will have had the hardest start in life and for some children the wait to join their adoptive family can be longer.

The children currently waiting to be adopted in the East Midlands may need to be placed with their siblings, can be older children, be of black minority ethnic heritage or may have complex health needs and uncertainties in their future.

What all these children need is the certainty you can provide – the certainty of a nurturing, loving and permanent family who can share and support their future whilst embracing their history. If you are ready to take the next step or would just like an informal chat contact us today to speak with an agency near you.
